We recently visited Legoland Malaysia, this is a brilliant low cost day out, the staff were friendly the rides were great and the lego simply amazing! The Theme Park is less than a year old and the hotel is still under construction, but everything else is up and running and is awesome!

This is the German Panzer 1:24 crossing the hot desert sands (93F) in Perth. This is from the Forces of Valor RC series. It comes with a infrared battle system that you can shoot and will make a sound when you hit the target. Turret and Barrel all move. It has an engine noise which can’t be heard in this video and lights. Positives, kids love it. It looks realistic, sounds good and well is a tank! Negatives – It’s not at home in the sand and takes 3 different types of battery and performance degrades sharply as the Tank battery degrades.

As promised the Titan twin in “drift mode” which translates to we put gaffa tape on tires and let rip!

When I did the math it looked like the XO-1 could do the quarter mile (433m) in 12 seconds and the ute does it in 11.5seconds so it looked on paper at least like a reasonable race.

However on the day the track compound was a week old and was shiny and slippery at the start line. It was due to be resurfaced hours from when we made our video.  What do they say about best laid plans?

We would have even settled for a result over a half the track! So anyway this is all we got. Despite all that for a split second it looked as if the Traxxas was capable of taking the lead in the first 100 meters.

We haven’t ruled out doing this again, maybe Traxass could post us some different tires!

We saw a video where you use duct tape on your wheels to turn your RC into a drift car. The first try we shredded the tape so here is take two with Gaffa or “100 Mph” tape. This worked a treat, so good we got the Twin Zilla out! www.stupidfastRC.com.au
